ABOUT
Originally from the West coast, Katherine Shenaman has lived in south Florida for the better part of 20 years. She first studied psychology and art at Palm Beach Atlantic University but transitioned into the interior design industry shortly after graduation. She began by working for a design boutique in Nantucket and then later for a prominent architect in Palm Beach.

Katherine has had her own design company since 2005, which she launched in New York; she and her team offer full-service design for decoration and renovation projects alike. She earned her MA at the University of Buckingham and Wallace Collection in London, focusing on British and French Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors.
With each project, Katherine seeks to combine her unique historical perspective on homes and the practice of ‘living well’ with the every-day lives of her clients. Each project for the team begins with a focus on the foundation of the home, as the centerpiece of living well and living authentically.
Katherine is passionate about learning, whether it be about design, history, the philosophies of ‘home’ or more. She has donated her time and resources to many charities over the years, including the beloved Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club (as a show house participant in 2023).
